Quotes from Radio DJ's
[Speaking of Darin Aldridge] He is undoubtedly one of the best young mandolin players around. AC, Maverick
[Speaking of Darin Aldridge] His voice is very similar to his idols and great example in the field .. Vince Gill. An Asset for anyones collection. Ted Clark, Bluegrass Radio The Netherlands.
[Speaking of Darin Aldridge] Darin Aldrigde is a gem. It will definitely stay on my play lists for quite some time and Im sure itll make it to the Top Ten of 2004. Everythings perfect on Call It A Day Great singing, fantastic picking and so many great new songs. What more can you ask for? -Hansjoerg Malonek, Radio ISW/Germany
Speaking of Darin Aldridge] This CD was a pleasant surprise. I havent heard Darin Aldridge sing before, so this CD gave me a good opportunity to focus on his talents. His tenor voice is clear & crisp as a bell. The enthusiasm he puts in his delivery is clearly noticeable. I especially liked his song selection. His original material was thought provoking, & his messages were as valid today as they would have been many years ago. Special kudos to his bandmates who did a stellar job. Their instrumental work was flawless, and dovetailed very well with the material being sung. Overall, it was a very well done project. Audience favorites included: How Could You Go, Call It A Day, Driving Nails, Stain Glass Tears, Will You Be Ready, and Crying Holy. What a fine debut! Al Shusterman; KCBL Radio, Sacramento, CA.
